The Pier Shops at Caesars was a breathtaking destination at the edge of the ocean on Atlantic City's famous boardwalk. On November 18, 2020, Caesars Atlantic City owner Vici Properties, which also owned the adjoining sister property Ballys Atlantic City, sold the Ballys. The Pier Shops was renamed and transformed into The Playground in 2015.
